Norra is an exceptionally efficient champion due to her extremely low investment requirements. She reaches peak viability at 3 stars, capable of clearing high-level adventures like Lissandra and Aurelion Sol without further constellation upgrades. While her late-game star powers are controversial, her base gameplay provides consistent infinite value through board swarming and RNG-driven adaptability.
The Oath Generator
Shuffles five Level 2 champions into the deck and doubles their stats.
Increases champion stats and reduces their cost by 2.- Reduces the cost of the shuffled champions further, often to zero mana.
Strategy
This is widely considered the most consistent high-difficulty build. By utilizing Norra's low 2-cost entry point, you can immediately trigger Oath. The cost reduction from double Star Gems ensures that any champion generated can be played for nearly zero mana, overwhelming the opponent with massive stats and Level 2 effects before they can stabilize.
Corrupted Stat-Stacking
Kills the supported ally to grant Norra its keywords and stats.
Summons a random Husk when a unit is killed.
Grants all units Overwhelm and stat buffs to those with subtypes.
Strategy
Norra frequently suffers from board-locking due to her portal summons. This build uses Corrupted Star Fragment to clear board space while concentrating stats onto Norra for an Elusive finisher. Succubus's Brand provides a steady stream of Husks, which Norra can consume to stack additional keywords and power.
The Portal Striker (C6 Optimized)
Triggers a strike against the weakest enemy when a champion is played.
Refills spell mana when a champion is played or levels up.
Grants Impact to created allies and providing +1 starting mana.
Strategy
Specifically designed to leverage the 6-star power. Since every portal now summons a champion, Scales of Judgment turns every portal proc into a free removal strike. Hidden Tome ensures that playing these units keeps your spell mana topped off, allowing you to spam Norra's champion spell to generate even more portals.
Other Relic Options
Reduces champion spell costs and increases deck consistency by creating copies of Norra.
Transforms supported allies into higher-cost units, which can then be consumed by stats-granting relics.
Summons attacking copies of followers, which is effective for accelerating Norra's level-up condition.
For players without Epic relics, Chameleon's Necklace is a solid alternative to Echoing Spirit to ensure Norra is drawn early. Laurent Bladerack is also effective for managing the enemy board through the wide unit swarm Norra generates.
Constellation
Norra provides diminishing returns after 3 stars. While her 4th and 5th stars offer useful utility and tempo, they are not necessary for clearing the game's hardest content. Her minor nodes focus on gold and survivability, which are helpful but secondary to her core portal engine.

Surprise Summoning
Your portals summon level 2 champions.Review
Highly divisive and often viewed as a sidegrade. While summoning champions instead of followers sounds powerful, it significantly narrows the unit pool and removes access to high-cost followers with game-winning 'Summon' or 'Last Breath' effects. It should only be prioritized if running specific champion-synergy relics like Scales of Judgment.
Gameplay Tips
- Manage Board Space Aggressively
Because Norra generates units automatically via portals, your board will frequently reach its six-unit limit. Use relics like Corrupted Star Fragment to kill off weaker portal summons, ensuring you always have space to play Norra or benefit from new portal procs.
- Support Champion Selection
When choosing a support champion, look for high-cost units (6+) if you have the Portal Pals upgrade. Alternatively, champions who provide equipment can be highly effective, as the equipment can be moved from ephemeral portal summons onto Norra to retain stat value.
- Leverage Created Card Synergy
Created copies of Norra (from relics like Echoing) count toward her level-up condition. Playing these created versions early can significantly accelerate her transformation, which improves the quality of units summoned by her portals.
- Avoid Decking Out
In longer fights, Norra's massive card draw and portal procs can lead to a depleted deck. If an adventure is expected to go past round 5-6, prioritize ending the game quickly or avoid over-drafting cards that further increase your draw speed.
