Poor (3/10)
Rare Relics OK
Lee Sin is frequently categorized as a bottom-tier champion due to a combination of high mana costs, slow level-up requirements, and a starting deck that lacks sufficient synergy. While he possesses theoretical OTK (One-Turn Kill) potential, reaching that state requires significant investment in relic slots and a high level of patience, as his gameplay often feels cumbersome and outdated.
The High-Scaling Combo
  • Chemtech Duplicator icon
This is the essential finisher for Lee Sin. Once you reach 6 mana gems, it doubles every spell played, allowing you to activate his level 2 Dragon's Kick twice and effectively double the stat buffs provided by your star powers.
  • Hymn of Valor icon
Provides Redoubled Valor to exponentially increase Lee Sin's attack. When combined with Chemtech Duplicator, this results in massive stat growth, turning Lee Sin into a massive Nexus-striking threat.
  • Chosen by the Stars icon
Leverages the frequent spell targeting in this deck to provide Fated and Augment buffs. Reaching the Empowered 10 threshold grants Overwhelm, ensuring the massive attack stats translate directly to Nexus damage.

Strategy

The objective is to stall the early game using Lee Sin's Barrier and Challenger until you reach 6 mana. Once Chemtech Duplicator is active, cast spells to generate a massive Lee Sin and use Dragon's Kick to remove the strongest blocker while striking the enemy Nexus for lethal damage.
Early Acceleration Build
  • The Scourge's Stash icon
Lee Sin's high base cost is his primary bottleneck. This relic allows you to play him much earlier in the match, provided you can trigger a Plunder effect with an early-game spell or unit.
  • Perfect Hex Core icon
Generates a zero-cost spell every round. This is vital for maintaining Flow and generating the spell triggers required for Lee Sin's star powers and level-up condition without depleting your mana pool.
  • Secret Technique icon
Doubles the stat buffs granted by spells. This significantly accelerates Lee Sin's scaling, making him a formidable combatant even before his level 2 transformation.

Strategy

This build focuses on reducing the champion's cost and maximizing the efficiency of every spell cast. By playing Lee Sin earlier and using zero-cost Hex Cores, you can maintain pressure and survive until the mid-game finishers are online.
Other Relic Options
  • Echoing Spirit icon
Reduces the cost of champion spells and increases deck consistency. This is useful for mitigating Lee Sin's mana-starved nature.
  • Stalker's Blade icon
Provides immediate board impact upon summoning. Since Lee Sin often has high attack stats from spells played earlier in the turn, he can reliably remove high-priority targets on entry.
  • The Beast Within icon
Grants Overwhelm to the entire board. This is a critical keyword for Lee Sin to ensure his massive stat gains aren't neutralized by chump blockers.
  • Frozen Tomb icon
A versatile option to get Lee Sin on the board for free after four rounds, allowing you to save your mana for protective and offensive spells.
Lee Sin's relic choices are flexible but highly dependent on your level and available mana. Prioritize relics that either reduce his cost or maximize his stat scaling per spell cast.
Constellation
Lee Sin currently lacks a full 6-star constellation, leaving him at a disadvantage compared to champions with updated power ceilings. His base 3-star design is considered functional but struggles with mana efficiency and speed.

Gameplay Tips
  • Pacing and Resource Management
Lee Sin is exceptionally mana-starved in the early rounds. You must prioritize spells that refill spell mana or reduce costs. Avoid playing units that do not contribute to your spell-count or protective needs until Lee Sin is ready to be played.
  • Leveraging Barrier and Challenger
Lee Sin's level 1 form grants him Barrier and Challenger when spells are cast. Use this to pick off high-threat enemy units while keeping Lee Sin healthy. This defensive utility is your primary tool for surviving until your 6-mana power spike.
  • Optimizing Dragon's Kick
When Lee Sin is leveled, his Dragon's Kick strikes the enemy Nexus. If you have Overwhelm (from relics or powers), Lee Sin will strike the blocker, then the Nexus via the skill, and finally the Nexus again with his standard attack if the blocker is removed or the kick concludes.
  • Drafting Strategy
When choosing cards at rewards nodes, prioritize low-cost spells and units that generate spells. Spells that target allies are particularly effective if you are running Secret Technique or Fated-based builds.
  • AI Behavior
Note that the AI often fails to account for Lee Sin's burst-speed stat increases. You can frequently bait the AI into unfavorable blocks by holding your stat-buffing spells until the combat or stack resolution phase.
