Excellent (9/10)
Low Investment
Rare Relics OK
Jinx is one of the most reliable and efficient champions in the game. Her power level is exceptional even with minimal investment, though her repetitive playstyle may eventually lack variety for some players. She remains the gold standard for speed and consistency in non-Nightmare content.
The Aggro Burn Standard
  • The Loose Cannon's Payload icon
This is the cornerstone of any Jinx build. It ensures she levels up immediately upon play and provides a hand full of high-value removal and burn spells.
  • The Scourge's Stash icon
Enables a Turn 1 or Turn 2 champion drop. Given the aggressive nature of the deck, triggering Plunder is trivial, making Jinx a massive early-game threat.
  • Luden's Tempest icon
Amplifies the damage of every discard ping and every spell generated by her star powers, significantly accelerating the win clock.

Strategy

The primary objective is to trigger Plunder immediately and deploy Jinx as early as possible. Once she hits the board, her relic will discard your hand, triggering multiple burn pings and generating Pow-Pows. This often results in a total board wipe and massive Nexus damage in a single turn. This build is highly effective for rapid adventure clears.
High-Efficiency Reset Build
  • The Loose Cannon's Payload icon
Essential for generating the hand-refill loop required for multiple discard procs.
  • Guardian Angel icon
Allows Jinx to be sacrificed and revived, triggering her summon effect—and thus the full discard/refill loop—multiple times in a single match.
  • The Grand General's Counterplan icon
Provides a consistent source of champion spells. If Jinx is removed or sacrificed, this ensures a replacement is always available to restart the burn loop.

Strategy

This strategy focuses on recursive champion play. By allowing Jinx to die or actively sacrificing her, players can re-trigger her summon ability. This is particularly useful in longer encounters where a single hand discard is insufficient to finish the opponent. It provides better sustain against high-health enemies.
Other Relic Options
  • Dreadway Chase Gun icon
When placed in a slot above the signature relic, it adds extra cards to the hand before they are discarded, resulting in more Pow-Pows and discard damage.
  • Echoing Spirit icon
Greatly improves consistency by ensuring Jinx is drawn early. It also reduces the cost of her champion spell, which is vital for non-discard strategies.
  • Packed Powder icon
An upgraded alternative to the standard plunder cost-reduction relic, providing additional scaling stats for tougher encounters.
Jinx is remarkably flexible; while her signature relic is mandatory for optimal play, her other slots can be adapted based on the specific adventure's needs, such as adding Banshee's Veil for protection in Nightmare runs.
Constellation
Jinx possesses one of the strongest low-tier constellations in the game. She reaches a dominant state at 3 stars, making her the most efficient F2P investment. Her upgrades primarily focus on increasing the damage of her created spells and providing better mana management.

    Review
This upgrade significantly improves the deck's opening tempo. By providing spell mana and a guaranteed early unit, it ensures that Plunder can be triggered reliably on the first turn without requiring specific cards from the opening hand.

Game Start: Get a mana gem.
    Review
While a standard mana gem is always beneficial, this is considered a lower priority for Jinx compared to other champions, as her low-cost curve and cost-reduction relics already allow her to dominate the early game.
  • Icon for Get Jinxed!

    Get Jinxed!

Your spells and Skills deal double damage.
    Review
This upgrade is a significant damage multiplier. Doubling the damage of her spells—particularly the Super Mega Death Rockets—allows her to remain viable in Nightmare-tier content where enemy Nexus health is substantially higher. It transforms her from an early-game aggro deck into a late-game nuclear threat.
Gameplay Tips
  • The Plunder Trigger
Always ensure you have a way to damage the enemy Nexus before playing Jinx. Cards like Jury-Rig or the pings from her star powers make this easy. Deploying her without a cost-reduction trigger is a significant loss in tempo.
  • Managing Hand Size
Because her primary relic discards your hand, you should play all non-fleeting cards that you actually want to use before summoning her. Conversely, hold onto as many cards as possible if you intend to maximize the number of Pow-Pows generated upon her arrival.
  • Handling Tough Enemies
Jinx can struggle against enemies with the Tough keyword, as it nullifies her 1-damage pings. In these scenarios, focus on using your Pow-Pows to remove threats rather than relying on passive discard damage. Upgrading to her 6-star power or finding damage-boosting items during a run is critical for overcoming these defensive walls.
  • Drafting Strategy
Focus on drafting cards that generate other cards or provide draw. Since Jinx rewards you for emptying your hand, having a constant stream of new cards to play or discard ensures that your momentum never stalls. Avoid high-cost cards that might become 'dead' in your hand.
  • Animation Timing
In high-speed play or speedrunning, be aware that Jinx's discard and spell-creation animations can be time-consuming. Using her on mobile platforms may result in significant lag during heavy combo turns due to the volume of calculations required for her passive damage triggers.
