High Investment Required
Rare Relics OK
Requires 4-Star or 6-Star investment. At 3-Stars, her performance is significantly lower (rated closer to 4/10).
Nexus Strike Combo (6-Star)
The core of the build, repeated up to three times. It utilizes her 6-star power to scale her stats in hand and instantly strike the enemy Nexus upon being summoned.
A substitute for a third Gatebreaker, providing Overwhelm to ensure damage is dealt even if the initial strike does not end the game.
Strategy
This build focuses on stalling the early game to allow Ashe's 6-star power to accumulate a massive amount of power on the copy of her in your hand. Once her power is high enough, she is summoned to strike and destroy the enemy Nexus in a single attack.
Control & Freeze (3-Star)
Essential for generating her champion spell, Flash Freeze, to consistently control the board.
Ensures sufficient mana to consistently cast the generated spells for board control.
Increases consistency by drawing Ashe and providing additional copies for spell generation.
Strategy
This build focuses on a traditional control playstyle, using repeated frostbites from her generated champion spell to neutralize enemy threats and win through board advantage over time.
Other Relic Options
The necessity of Overwhelm is debatable. While it ensures damage against complex board states, Ashe's Level 2 ability already prevents frostbitten enemies from blocking, making Overwhelm potentially redundant.
Considered a suboptimal choice. Its single-target removal is less impactful than the Nexus-damaging potential of Gatebreaker.
A viable defensive option, but its control-oriented approach is generally less effective than the offensive power offered by Gatebreaker builds.
Constellation
Ashe's power is heavily dependent on her star powers, transforming her from a low-tier control champion into a dominant combo/OTK force. The 'Star of Discovery' node is a notable low point, as its item buffs are restricted to Freljord units, limiting its overall utility.

Frost Shot
Round Start: If you have the attack token, Frostbite the strongest enemy and give it Vulnerable this round.
Avarosan Spirit
+1 Starting Mana. When an ally kills a unit with 0 Power, grant your ally +1|+1.
Frost Shot II
Round Start: Frostbite the strongest enemy and give it Vulnerable this round.
Treacherous Terrain
Each round, the first time an enemy summons a unit, Frostbite it.Review
This is the critical turning point for Ashe's viability. The defensive and tempo advantages gained from this power elevate her from a struggling champion to a highly effective one.
Manaflow
Game Start: Get a mana gem.
Gift of Avarosa
When you decrease an enemy's power, randomly distribute that much power among allies in hand.Review
This upgrade fundamentally alters her gameplay, enabling an infinite scaling combo that excels at clearing high-difficulty content. It shifts her identity from a control champion to a one-turn-kill win condition by converting the opponent's strength into her own.
Gameplay Tips
- The Waiting Game (6-Star Build)
Do not play Ashe on curve. Stall the game using frostbites and followers, allowing her 6-star power to increase her stats in hand. Summon her only when her power is sufficient to destroy the enemy Nexus in a single strike with Gatebreaker.
- Strategic Drafting
Prioritize spells over followers in your draft choices. Cutting units from the deck increases the probability that the stat buffs from her 6-star power will target Ashe directly, accelerating her win condition.
- Countering Mutators
Ashe is a premier counter to 'Deadly' and 'Chimes' mutators in high-difficulty content. Her ability to steal enemy stats turns these symmetrical buffs into a direct advantage.
- Matchup Considerations
Avoid adventures with the 'Formidable' keyword, as Ashe's frostbite effects target Power, rendering them ineffective. Additionally, be cautious in matchups with heavy removal, as a single-summon OTK strategy is vulnerable to disruption.
