Excellent (9.5/10)
Low Investment
Rare Relics OK
Ahri is widely considered one of the premier champions in Path of Champions. Her ability to bypass board states via elusive attacks and direct Nexus strikes makes her a top-tier contender for the hardest content, including Nightmare adventures and Lissandra. While she requires specific relics and star powers to reach 'infinite' status, she is highly effective even at lower investment levels due to her built-in cost reduction and recall mechanics.
The 'Found Fortune' Infinite (C6)
  • Packed Powder icon
Grants -2 cost if you trigger Plunder. This makes Ahri cost 0 mana once Plunder is active, facilitating an infinite loop.
  • Found Fortune icon
On play, draws a card costing less than Ahri's base cost (2) and sets its cost to 0. This targets her 1-cost Champion Spell (Charm), provided by Echoing Spirit, giving you a free recall every time you play her.
  • Echoing Spirit icon
Shuffles 7 copies of Ahri into your deck and reduces Champion Spells cost by 1. This reduces Charm to 1 mana (making it eligible for Found Fortune) and prevents you from running out of cards.

Strategy

Requires 6-Star Power. This build creates a self-sustaining infinite loop. Play Ahri (2 mana), FF draws a Charm for free. Recall Ahri. This triggers her 6-Star power (Strike the enemy Nexus), which activates Plunder. With Plunder active, Packed Powder makes Ahri cost 0 mana. Replay Ahri for 0 -> Found Fortune draws a free Charm -> Play Charm to recall Ahri -> 6-Star strikes Nexus again -> Repeat until victory.
The Infinite Recall Loop
  • Hymn of Valor icon
On summon, creates 'Redoubled Valor'. This is the engine of the build, allowing you to double Ahri's stats every time she is played.
  • The Curator's Gatebreaker icon
When summoned, Ahri strikes the enemy Nexus. Combined with her recall mechanics, this turns her into a direct-damage burn spell that can be cast repeatedly.
  • Lost Chapter icon
Refills spell mana on summon. This is critical for the loop, effectively making Ahri free or mana-positive to play and recall repeatedly in a single turn. Can be upgraded to Hidden Tome for more mana.

Strategy

This build aims to end the game on the turn Ahri is dropped. The loop works by playing Ahri, striking the Nexus (Gatebreaker), doubling her stats (Hymn), and then recalling her using her Champion Spell (Charm) or other recall effects. Because Ahri's 2-Star power reduces the cost of recalled units, she becomes cheaper with every cycle. You repeatedly play her, strike the Nexus, and recall her until the enemy is dead, often ignoring the board entirely.
Oath of the Fox (Support Build)
  • Oath of the Guardians icon
Shuffles 5 Level 2 Champions into your deck with doubled stats.
  • Star Gem icon
Allied champions cost 2 less. If you run two of these, your Oath champions become incredibly cheap.

Strategy

Ahri is a cheap champion (2 mana), meaning you can get her on the board early to activate Star Gem discounts for the powerful champions created by Oath. Her recall synergy allows you to protect these win-condition champions or replay them to trigger their summon effects again.
Other Relic Options
  • Echoing Spirit icon
Excellent for consistency. Reduces the cost of Charm and ensures you draw Ahri and her recall spells consistently.
  • Secret Technique icon
Synergizes powerfully with Hymn of Valor. Instead of doubling stats, it triples or quadruples them depending on interaction, accelerating the OTK.
  • Fear-Cleaving Axe icon
Boosts the stats granted by her Spirit mechanic, helping her scale faster if you are playing a more board-centric game.
  • Essence Theft icon
Ahri's signature epic relic. Generally considered inferior to the Hymn/Gatebreaker setup as it focuses on control rather than lethal speed.
Constellation
Ahri possesses one of the best Constellation paths in the game, offering flexibility and high-impact upgrades without forcing bad nodes. She is completely viable at 3-Stars, making higher investment purely for fun or overkill.

    Review
Round Start: Stun the strongest enemy. A top-tier defensive power that neutralizes the biggest threat every turn, giving you time to set up your recall loops safely.

Manaflow (+1 Starting Mana). Provides significant acceleration, allowing you to drop Ahri and start your combos a turn earlier. High impact, but not strictly necessary for victory.
  • Icon for Parting Gift

    Parting Gift

When you Recall an ally, it Strikes the enemy Nexus.
    Review
When an ally is recalled, it strikes the enemy Nexus. This is a game-changer that turns every recall into face damage. It removes the need for Gatebreaker in her build, freeing up a relic slot for even more utility or damage.
Gameplay Tips
The Infinite Mana Loop
Ahri's 2-Star power reduces the cost of a unit by 1 when it is recalled. Combined with Lost Chapter (which refills spell mana on summon), you can create a mana-positive loop. Summon Ahri (refill mana) -> Cast Charm/Recall (Ahri returns to hand, cost reduces) -> Replay Ahri (cheaper cost, refill mana again). This allows you to cast Redoubled Valor multiple times in a single turn.
Managing Board Space
Ahri decks often flood the board with Ephemeral units or low-cost followers. Be careful not to board-lock yourself, which prevents you from replaying Ahri to continue her loop. Aggressively trade or recall followers to keep space open for your champion.
Interaction Priority
If you are using Hymn of Valor, cast it before you attack or recall Ahri. The stats are permanent on her (due to game mechanics with her 2-star power or just replaying the buffed unit). Prioritize getting the buff on her before cycling her back to hand.
Defensive Recalls
Don't be afraid to use your recall spells defensively to save Ahri from removal. Her cost reduction mechanic means replaying her is essentially a tempo gain rather than a loss. Keeping her alive is more important than pushing damage in the early turns.
